Karastan’s English Manor Collection Adds Four Timeless Patterns

DALTON, GA, February 3, 2012—Karastan’s English Manor Collection brings the relaxed elegance of British country living to any setting with four new styles for 2012. All are woven of premium fully worsted New Zealand wool in the U.S.A. on Van de Wiele looms.

New to the English Manor Collection are:

  • Chesterfield Beige and Chesterfield Red: Fanciful medallions dance across a lightly striated field offering a modern and formal decorative choice. Chesterfield Beige features a palette of freshly styled greens and browns with accents of light blue on a beige ground. Chesterfield Red has accents of indigo blue, light blue, beige and a softened brown with just a tweak of green on a red ground. Neither rug has a border, giving it a transitional look to work well in both contemporary settings and traditional ones.
  • Preston Beige and Preston Red: In Preston, primitive tribal elements pepper an open field for a casual yet traditional effect. Accent colors in Preston Red are navy, light blue, gray-green and wheat gold on a red ground. Preston Beige is accented with navy, light blue, cinnabar and olive green on a beige ground.
  • Leicester: A decorative panel in soft butter, cream, and robin’s egg with accents of navy and brick weaves an elegant and complex design. Three narrow leafy borders frame Leicester’s burst of energy.
  • Telford: Traditional kilim elements are patchworked together and distressed for an aged and global appearance in Telford. It gets its energy not only from design but from the predominant use of red with accents of medium blue, sage green and maize yellow.

These new English Manor rugs are available in the following sizes: 2'6" x 4', 2'6" x 8', 2'6" x 12', 2'9" x 5', 3'8" x 5', 5'7" x 7'11", 8' x 10'5" and 8'6" x 11'6". Retail price for a 5'7" x 7'11" is $999.
